FAQ & Guide

How to choose your lashes, which brand to choose, which style to take, how to apply them, and how to care for them.

💛Which brand to choose?
(materials, quality and value)

💛What are the best brands of false eyelashes?

It all depends on the desired effect, frequency of use and budget.

Cheap brands often offer eyelashes with a synthetic finish, which do not meet hypoallergenic standards.

Standard brands will opt for false eyelashes that are in high demand by customers, with standardized models , thus offering little choice and limited results.

High-end brands will focus on manufacturing quality, realistic and natural rendering, and unparalleled comfort.

💛What are some brands for sensitive eyes?

The most important thing is that the band is made of natural material, cotton offers unparalleled comfort, and that the band is thin, light and very flexible so that it adapts perfectly to the natural arc of the eye.

Yubari Lashes offers products that meet these principles of comfort and quality.

💛I'm a beginner, which brand should I choose?

If you are a beginner, choose a brand that offers false eyelashes with a thin and flexible band , lightweight fibers (for comfort), and that offers quality latex-free glue .

Opt for the Yubari Lashes brand, which offers and meets these requirements.

💛Should I choose clusters or strips?

CLUSTERS are small clusters of eyelashes (3 to 6 lashes) to be applied individually occasionally, but sometimes used semi-permanently (which is not recommended).

Risks? Higher risk : their weight can exert tension on the natural eyelash and cause it to fall out if they are not removed correctly.

This is often for advanced users who want targeted extreme volume and are very experienced.

False eyelash strips are a full strip applied along the lash line. Quick (30 seconds to 2 minutes) and easy for beginners.

Risks? Low risk, especially with light eyelashes.

Perfect for beginners and experienced wearers alike , for everyday wear or special events requiring easy and hygienic removal .

✨Which false eyelashes should you choose?
(effect, length, cluster and morphology)

If you can't find an answer, contact us.

✨How to choose the right length and volume of eyelashes so they look natural?

For a natural look, false eyelashes should not be more than one-third longer than your natural lashes. For volume, opt for lash strips with thin, slightly fluffy clusters, rather than very dense strips.

✨I have almond/round/downturned eyes, what style of eyelashes (cat eye, natural, babydoll) best suits my eye shape?

Cat-Eye Almond
Lengthens and stretches the eyes horizontally, giving them a sophisticated look. Progressive length: shorter lashes at the inner corner, longer at the outer corner.

Round Babydoll (Opening)
Gives an illusion of verticality and a more open, "enlarged" look. Concentrate the length and maximum curve at the center of the eyelid.

Sagging Light Lifting (Flare)
Visually lifts the outer corner and creates a "lifting" effect without weighing the eye down. A shorter style, but with a significant curl (lift) at the outer corners. Avoid very long lashes that droop.

Near Outside Lengths
Visually distances the eyes by drawing attention outwards. Shorter lashes on the inner corner and a pronounced length only on the outer two-thirds .

Center Lengths
Brings the eyes closer together by concentrating the volume above the iris. Longer and fuller lashes at the inner corner and center.

✨What is the difference between strip eyelashes, clusters, and individual extensions?

The main difference lies in the installation technique:

Strip false eyelashes are a full strip applied to the eyelid, perfect for beginners and ultra-quick to apply (30 seconds to 1 minute)
Clusters are small tufts of a few eyelashes applied at a time, intended for experienced clients. (1 to 2 minutes)
Individual extensions are a single false eyelash applied to a natural eyelash by a professional eyelash technician. (60 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes)

How to choose false eyelashes that enhance your look without being 'too much'?

Choose false eyelashes with a thin, flexible band and a length that is concentrated in the center.

Target styles with light or medium volume (often 10-12 mm maximum length) with a slight wispy effect (glued lashes) for a subtle lifting effect.

The lighter to medium density the tape, the less heavy and dramatic the effect will be.

👁️ What are the risks to my eye health?

If you can't find an answer, contact us.

👁️ What are the allergy risks associated with false eyelashes and how can they be avoided?

The risks of allergy are mainly related to the components of the glue (such as latex or formaldehyde) or to the materials of the eyelashes.

To avoid them, choose hypoallergenic products and do a skin test with the glue and 24-hour false eyelashes.

👁️Is eyelash glue dangerous for the eyes? What ingredients should be avoided?

Eyelash glue isn't dangerous if it's good quality. Ingredients to absolutely avoid include formaldehyde , latex , and certain harsh solvents. Opt for glues with a simple and transparent formula.

If you have glues that are too sticky, they can also tear/pull at the skin or your eyelashes during removal...

👁️Does regularly wearing false eyelashes damage my natural eyelashes?

Wearing false eyelashes does not damage natural eyelashes if two rules are followed :
1) The eyelashes used are lightweight
2) Removal is done without pulling or forcing (use an oil-based makeup remover).

👁️Can I wear false eyelashes if I have sensitive eyes OR if I wear contact lenses?

Yes, you can wear false eyelashes even with sensitive eyes or contact lenses, provided you use hypoallergenic and lightweight products.

It is essential to apply the eyelashes after inserting your lenses and to use a latex-free glue.

👁️What are the signs of a reaction or poor tolerance?

The main signs of poor tolerance or an allergic reaction to false eyelashes or glue are redness and swelling of the eyelids , intense itching , a burning sensation , stinging of the eyes or excessive and unusual tearing .

Rinse the eye with saline solution.

🧼How to care for them?
(cleaning & durability)

If you can't find an answer, contact us.

🧼How do I clean and disinfect my false eyelashes so I can reuse them multiple times?

To clean and disinfect your false eyelashes, gently remove any glue residue from the band with tweezers . Then clean the lash strip by dabbing it with a cotton swab moistened with a mild, oil-free cleanser or micellar water. Rinse with clean water and allow to air dry flat.

🧼How can I properly store my false eyelashes to preserve them?

Store your clean false eyelashes in their original box or case , or in a rigid pouch. The goal is to protect their natural curl and prevent them from being crushed or exposed to dust.

🧼How often should reusable false eyelashes be cleaned for optimal hygiene?

It is crucial to clean your false eyelashes after each use .
This ensures optimal hygiene, prolongs their lifespan and prevents eye infections.
